Which regions does the International Reconstruction Association provide aid to?

Operating in many countries around the world, the International Reconstruction Association continues its activities in all regions where basic humanitarian needs such as those arising from natural disasters, war, famine, and lack of water cannot be met. As is well known, aid organizations often face difficulties operating in conflict or crisis zones due to the risks involved. The International Reconstruction Association is an organization experienced in working in such regions and actively operates there.

Is İMARDER affiliated with any religious group or political party?

Our association has no affiliation with any religious group or political party. Our organization reflects the characteristics of the Islamic charitable endowment (waqf) tradition and is an institution established within the Turkish legal system. The aim of our organization is to deliver aid to all people in need, wherever they may be, who are hungry, homeless, or living in hardship. People from all segments of society are among CANSUYU’s donors.

What is your working approach abroad?

Some of the projects carried out abroad are monitored directly by the officials of the International Reconstruction Association, while others are implemented in cooperation with partner organizations located in the region and familiar with local conditions. Partner institutions and the Association’s representatives prepare reports on these projects and continuously supervise the work carried out on the ground.

Is monitoring carried out during and after the aid process?

Our association is regularly audited by the official authorized institutions.

When was İMARDER founded? What is its purpose?

The International Reconstruction Association was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Istanbul.

Our association works to deliver humanitarian aid to all people in need anywhere in the world, without discrimination based on region, language, race, or sect — including those who have fallen into hardship, suffered disasters or oppression, are hungry or homeless, or have been affected by war or natural disasters; those who have been injured, disabled, displaced, or left without shelter — in short, all individuals who have fallen into a state of need.

In which provinces of Turkey do you have representative offices?

The International Reconstruction Association currently has a representative office only in Istanbul.
